Lucky me. new years eve and new years day in the studio finishing up the Bravery's remix album.

A few days tracking with Sweet Plantain. A string quartet. tracking in the LeFrak concert hall in Queens. nice change of pace.

Finish mixing Glint's record.

Trying to finish the Bravery's remix album by the deadline. Some nice long days in the studio.

Fly out to Oregon for a couple of weeks to start tracking Glint's record. We are at Blackberry Hill studios in Eugene, OR. Pretty decent view.

The Ropes got a deal with Warner/Cordless, so back into the studio to produce/ mix the rest of an album.

Back in PA with the Kin to add a few songs to the record.

Tracked a bunch of b-sides/exclusive releases for the Bravery an their new Album "The Sun and The Moon"

More drum tracking for Animal Pharm out at Bushwick.

Back to Allaire with indie rock band Noba.

Produced an EP for Her Majesty (the band).

Mixed a few songs for Rick warren.

Finished mixing Sophia Ramos record.

Spent a couple of days with the Cloud Room back at the Carriage house.

Another few days of preproduction with Aberdeen City.

March 2006
Started the month with recording and mixing a four song demo for The Cloud Room. We went up to the Carriage House for the tracking and mixed at Bushwick.

Continuing to work on Ruth Gerson's record. We have finished basics and are looking to get some keys and guitars on it.

Demos for the a new album from the Bravery.

Finished up the month by re-recording two tracks for Aberdeen City with Steve Lillywhite co-producing. learnt a new trick or two. We Tracked GTRs and Vocals at Mission in Brooklyn and mixed in room D at Sony.


February 2006
Got Paperdoll tracked and sent off to executive producer Bryce Wilson.

Finished mixing Rick Warren's album, all at Threshold.

Several more days doing basics for Ruth Gerson.



January 2006
Went to Baltimore and finished a third song for the Heavycoats.

Began Pre-Production for the NYC band Paperdoll. We will be doing four songs. Tracking will begin in february at Bushwick studio.

Began mixing Rick Warren debut album at Threshold music for Producer Tony Woodruff.

Started producing/recording a full length for Ruth Gerson.



December 2005
Producing the Heavycoats from baltimore for an up coming release on the UK label Outafocus. Will aim to do some more with these guys in the new year.

Did a little work for Val Emmich.

A few days with the Bravery for good measure.

They always come back for more. The Head Set wants to go back to the Carriage House to record a new song.

The Perfects also return for me to mix their EP. We decide to do this at Bushwick Studio.

I was also called in by Todd Adelman to mix his new record, Henry's Diner. This one is all tape, no tools and no automation either. Its good to work on tape again.

I also got a myspace page up and running this month.

Some more mixing for David Boyle's project, Viki, and we wrap up that project

I mixed a song for a band called The Perfects from Baltimore. If they the mix I will do the rest of their EP.

Time to fish up the Dogs of Winter EP at Bushwick Studio and then master the thing with Scott Hull of course.

The Head Set and Aberdeen City play an awesome show together at Mercury Lounge.



August 2005
David Boyle calls me in to do some mixing for a project that he is producing.

Whirlwind four day session at the Carriage House with Altamonte, a band from Mastic Beach.

The Dogs of Winter project begins. Bushwick Studios to cut the drums and bass, then off to the Ranch in the Catskills for a round the clock recording session.



July 2005
I take the begining of July off as I usually do. Time to relax a little and enjoy the summer.

Fly to Atlanta to record a new song with the Bravery for an upcoming single. We tracked at Tree Sound Studios in Atlanta. Awesome place. Well designed and great staff.

Do some recording for Ute Lemper.

Finishing off the month, Todd Adelman arrives back in NY to work on his new album. I attend the sessions to help him get his drum sounds.



June 2005
Mixing for The Head Set at Chung King studios (NYC) over the next few weekends, six days all told. Wiffle ball is greatly missed by all.

Edison sneaks back into the studio for three days, then head to Iraq on a U.S.O. tour.

Another day with the Bravery to do some more b-sides. They have now gone Gold in the U,K, and have sold a fair few over here as well.

Mastered The Head Set's full length with Scott Hull. All in all, I think it turned out pretty well.



May 2005
Pre-production for The Head Set as we get ready to head into the Studio.

The Head Set tracking session couldn't have been more fun. During our ten days at the Carriage House (Stamford, CT), we followed the three W's of recording: Whiskey, Wine and Wiffle ball. And we tracked just about everything, including the string quartet.



April 2005
More Aberdeen to revisit an older song and remix one of the new ones. This time we're at Excello Recording in Brooklyn. Then off to Scott Hull's new place at Jigsaw Sound to master the album.

A couple of days at the Ranch with Edison, and a day at Bushwick to cut strings. We might be nearing the finish line.

Pre-production begins for The Head Set on their first full length.

A five hour session with the Slink Moss Orchestra, during which five songs are recorded and mixed. The express, no fucking around approach to recording.



March 2005
Head upstate with Aberdeen City to the frozen tundra that is the Ranch Recording Studios for guitars, vocals, and other mayhem. Ten days of isolation and below freezing conditions ought to do it.

A couple days off try to recuperate and then to The Carriage House in Stamford to mix the Album.
The Bravery is released in the U.S.



February 2005
Finished up this group of songs with Edison.

More pre-production with Aberdeen, then Bushwick Studios for basics.

The Bravery self titled album is released in the U.K.



January 2005
Bravery b-sides underway, awaiting album release.

Animal Pharm album mastered with Scott Hull.

Back in the studio with Edison. Camped out at the Carraige House in Stamford CT for a couple of weeks. Cozy studio.

First pre-production weekend with Aberdeen City. Long hours, but some good progress is made.



December 2004
The end is now in sight for Animal Pharm. Tracking nearly done, hopefully on to mixing later this month.

Back in the studio with The Bravery. Laying down new songs for their forthcoming album for Island Def Jam. US release set for Spring.

Gearing up for some pre-production with Aberdeen City (Dovecote Records). This should take me into the new year.



November 2004
While taking time for some R&R in the UK, saw The Bravery play a sold out show during their residency at The Metro in London. The Unconditional EP sees limited release in the UK and France on Loog Records.



October 2004
Working my ass off on about five different projects. Nicole Paradiso's record is nearly finished, as is Noba's new EP and a four song demo for The Brothers of Industry.

The new Animal Pharm EP is in the works. Should be complete in early December. Debut EP from Children of Logic on the way as well.
